I would never tell anyone to quit college.

I do tell everyone if I could go back to age 18, I would take 2 years of electrical, and 2 years of diesel mechanics at the local vo tech, instead of 4 years of Economic boredom at a major university.  

The savings of doing your own electrical on the farm would have paid for that 2 years of my life plus the education 100 times over so far. 

Plus I'd be a way handy guy. 



BTW:   You can take classes online.     I don't care what anyone says, the interview will get you more in the door than the name of the school on the piece of paper.
