Am I the only one that attend Half Century of Progress Show that noticed all the able bodied men riding around in golf carts, and driving on plowed ground to watch the events? Farmers sure "aint what they used to be".
Read mine again ,I WAS agreeing with you. And no , I didn't go watch them plow or harvest. I've seen and done enough of that when I was younger......and it hasn't changed. I went for the SHOW.To see new things the vendors might have or things I haven't seen before and I get that exercise that I need (and more often). And by the way there are trams that'll take you to the fields |
