Subject: RE: Soil-Life cobra on beans?

North Central Ohio, across the Corn belt !

JDPlowboy - 8/26/2011 11:43 John Have you ever used cobra on those 80 - 100 bu beans? Back in the 90's, I accidently applied the max rate of Galaxy to 25 acres of beans and gained 10 bpa. I thought they were dead but the stems were still alive. They were black but boy did they branch out after that. I was going to burn some test strips with cobra this year but rain kept me out of the field at the right time. I was going to try some cobra this year but a very wet june stopped me. Cobra might be better than any fungicide.

plot work only, JD.  40 acre blocks, 40 acres each side. Non applied. replicated many times. so far

not 1 bu. advantage. disadvantage. So ?  we will see.

the areas, field that have done the best.  remarkably were not in Plot areas. so only seed and weed control for input cost.
