Downtown Shell Knob MO Come Visit! | I undertand your tillage. But it always amazes me the amount of spring tillage that occurs in ILLff's area. Just to get the field prefectly smooth. Its like they enjoy looking at a completly brown/black smooth field just as much as looking at a nice crop.
I have heard part of the "clean field approach" in the the spring is to keep the landowers happy and keep people from "bad mouthing" the lack of farm beautifucation that larger farms can accomplish.
