West Salem, Illinois | Three weeks ago I took my calves to the vets to get worked thru, there were a few heifers in the bunch that I intended to keep back for replacements. Anyway told Doc I would keep the heifers sorted off and not implant them, he said that there was actual studies that showed that heifers that were implanted had a larger pelvic measurement when mature and that it was beneficial to implant the replacement heifers. So we did and will have to see how it goes. | |
