I have planted no-till cotton in every kind of residue since 1997. Cotton itself leaves very little residue, so cotton after cotton will leave you little residue after two years.
Not sure why the West Tx guys dont plant more no-till. It sure works well here in South Central Ks.
Cotton looks great here right now, will need another good rain to finish it.
Time to bash the West Texans
