| Squish, I'm not sure bigotry is right word. With few exceptions, I think most posters here would applaud someone with both the desire and ability to raise a large family. Nobody said it would be easy.
My parents married in their late 30s and I have one younger sister. My parents were 39 when I was born and 44 when my sister was born. My sister just turned 44 and I'm 49. Neither of us is married so the possibility of either of us having kids at this stage in life is pretty remote at this point.
At my age and with my health the way it is, it's probably better that I leave the important job of raising a family to younger folks such as yourself and the OP. IMO, raising a family is the single most important job anyone can have in life. | |
