yes for an average on corn will be around .27% varietys will vary some higher some lower so 200 Bushel corn @ 56 wt. will be 200 X 56 = 11200 lbs. x.27% = 30.24 lbs.  The rest of what was needed to produce 200 bushel corn is still on the farm, and when it has been broken down will be ready to be used again.  The more live organisims you have in the soil the faster the residue will be broken down,
