| While it may seem petty it is against the law. Where do you draw the line? Our local school system is trying to recover from a superintendent that started out doing small things that were overlooked. He eventually made off with reportedly over $400,000 of school property & funds. No one, including the school board, really knew until the state came in. Things were so bad that the state almost took over the school system. It will be years before the school system will be on stable ground and in the mean time our school taxes, which already amounted to almost 65% of our property tax, has shot up.
