| I met an older gentleman at the local co-op, which was closed since it was Sunday. I always stop and top off the gas in my car on my way home from town.
He needed diesel in his older Dodge pickup pulling a livestock trailer. He didn't have a credit card to use at the pump so I swiped my card so he could put some fuel in.
I'm not really in the habit of helping out strangers in situations like this, but I like to think it was meant to be since we both arrived at the same time. I'll soon find out if the check he gave me is good. | |
