Subject: Talking to strangers at parts house or out and about..

Northeast Louisiana
Yesterday, while at local town, I stopped at the NAPA store for a little bit, it's one of the places where local farmers sit and shoot the bull. Good local country people/farmers drink coffee/cokes here while getting parts or just taking a break from the fields.
A gentleman I have never saw or met in my entire life comes in and gets a part. He had on a light jacket, well dressed. It was 100 degrees outside. I asked why he had a jacket on and he replied that he was cold. He was super nice, he said he was 89 years old. Very active, mind seems to be strong. He talked to me at least an hour. Really enjoyed the talk. Talked about his kids and grandkids. You can tell that he really enjoyed life in general. He told me that he enjoyed meeting strangers and visit with them.
My point in this, you don't hardly see this anymore. People are in such a rush, hurry this and hurry that. I wish more people are like him. Slow down and enjoy life and smell the country air.
