ECIL | Sprayed some beans and then met wifey and kids for the parade @1pm. Kids did the sack races, etc while wifey and I relaxed. Ed Winkle would have enjoyed seeing the super nice Oliver 55 diesel, wide front with a chrome stack (good for 20 hp?) and the Oliver 88 that likewise was in showroom condition. Someone had an M painted a really nice deep purple, looked sharp. The fireworks were the best ever, again. Sibley, IL puts on a great show, all volunteer and all donations. The fireworks lasted around 40 minutes, just sat in the lawn chair and looked up, about 10:00 to 11:00 position. Perfect weather for the entire day, too. | |
