We took our newly-restored 2-1206 to a parade about 40 miles away.  Were invited to participate by the fellow who so carefully painted the tractor.  A great time there!




Viewed a traveling memorial display entitled "Honoring Fallen Heros of Iowa" at the local events center.  Seventy-two soldiers, airmen and sailors who lost their lives since 9/11; my husband served with 5 of them, and one was a close friend.  Such a moving display and very well done by the people at Bellvue University in NE.

Finally attended the visitation for a friend who was killed in the crash of a small plane he was piloting.  This was, I believe, his 4th plane crash and the only one he didn't walk away from.
