Straight Loam soil , Very well drained, 1% OM 6 CEC 25 percent rock fragment in AP, 80% rock fragment at 60 inchs Full residue, Has not been worked besides row cleaners in 50 plus year. 8 ton/acre of compost applied this spring. Planted at 28K, 22K made it through the early rains, geese and crows Heavy hail damage at V4 (Jopin Tornado event) 2 tenths of rain sinse Joplin Tornado until last night.
