Grand Rapids, MI | I really don't think you have a good choice than to call a good attorney who is knowledgeable on this issue in your state. State law would apply here and every state is different. I doubt that the FSA contract means much under your state law except to possibly prove intent of the parties. What were the terms of your verbal lease? Will your original landlord back you up regarding this issue?
Each state is also different regarding lease termination and repossesion of the property. Under the laws of many states a landlord would not be able to lay waste to your property (the growing beans) in order to regain possesion of the property. Again this is a legal issue under state law, so unless you find someone familiar with your states laws, what applies in other states is just interesting reading, but of little assistance to you. | |
