New Mexico
THAT dries up and desertifies a bunch of lands East of the Continental divide too.
Reason is that overgrowth of brush in the W ( and Pinion/Juniper etc ) wicks out most available moisture thus the moisture does not boil over the Top of the Divide, form clouds and rain out farter East ( say 200 to 500 miles drought effect on E the the divide.

This is by long term govt design:
It's called the Wildlands Project.
To Bail the good folks East who eventually completely dry up..the govt comes in later and BUYS it.
That of course becomes the Buffalo Commons ground in the SW which is part of the govt Wildlands area planned ( encompasses MOST of the Western USA ).

Guess my idea of lottoing off say 5 million acres per year of govt dirt perhaps seems silly to the powers that be in the usa considering their long term projections/land use plans here etc.

We'll see.

Over time the govt has stepped pretty hard on those remote communities ( and individual common people ) now burning in E AZ, W NM etc.

I figure if 2,500 square miles burn ( say a 70% chance of that ), the govt may have just lost all they thought they gained here over the past 30 years ( as far as gustapo type intimidations, color of law, misprision of a felon tacts used on the little people by the Feds here, people control etc in this area ).

Nice thing about this fire...is it's gonna cut down most of those wolves the govt been trying to reintroduce too.

Next 2 days are the story on this fire.
35 to 40 mph winds updrafting the Blue from the SW.
That means the heat draft spot fire effect is 60 to 70 mph of E/ NE carry at the front of this deal.

It'll either really roll now or not. We'll see.
