ioway, your last sentence is interesting because you are so right with getting over the psychological hump of going against what we've learned all our lives. Also, you mentioned "negatives of leaving all that residue on top". That's just one more "hump" to crawl over because in the new system, there are really no negatives. Form your strips properly and put the residue to work for you. Study what earnestf is talking about. The normal process is for residue to be carried down by those creatures, not buried, upsetting the process. IMO, striptill is THE COC solution!
