| For the last week we have had red and yellow rolling through about every evening on the radar and guess what we got, dirt. The radars out here are now showing the dirt picked up by the dry thunderstoms. 50 - 60 mph winds about every evening with zero visibility at times from the dirt and no ground around me is blowing, it is all coming from 50 to 100 miles away. I can't remeber the last rain we had over a half an inch, some places on the farm it has been two years, other places was last August and we have a very spead out farm. To add insult to injury I have already had 3 electric wells damaged by lighting in two different storms this spring with a total of a half inch of moisture. Everything is so dry the only way to ground is through the irrigation equipment. | |
