well for me it is much better this time of year than what it used to be plus the feed cost and work are greatly reduced thus more profit and a more quality of life. Do you guys just think I started calving in the late spring and decided it is the cats meow with out something to compare it to. But go ahead and do your thing but it is funny how many complain about calving in the cold, heck one old guy told a farm magazine that's just the way it has to be. He was out in the west and had lost several calves in a winter storm, yep the way it is. ok Ben
