Holly Grove Arkansas | 56' projected for Helena now up from 52.5. 38' projected for the White at Clarendon. That would put the Mississippi at Helena nearly 6' higher than 1973, the White and Clarendon 3' above 1973. A large portion of my county will be underwater. Given the large percentage of wheat and corn that's in the south end of the county where the flooding will be worse, and the flooding along creeks and sloughs in the north end, I suspect 1/2 - 3/4 of the corn and wheat in my county will be lost. | |
