East Palestine, Ohio (Columbiana Co.) | Ed, "Here", in the NE part of the state, the weather either comes up from the Ohio river valley influence, or, off the lake effect from the Erie, with the stop line usually running along I-80. Alot of times my cousin and I will try to time hay cuttings to what the radar is showing coming across the state. Many times the front breaks up or splits around Akron, and we wind up with nothing.........IF we didn't mow~! On the other hand forecast can be for no rain for 5 days, and it might rain every day with spot or pop-up showers. Just never can tell for sure. Computer has us moving back into "chance" of showers Wed. thru Sun., be interesting to see what that nets us. I think we got about .1 and a half out of the last 4 day chance of showers. Caught me with my truck window down when I was out in field, Nothing like WET cloth seats~!)>.
My mom is in Tenn., she says she is already down 12" on moisture so far this year.
