Galahad, Alberta | Chad, we have a female Golden Retriever about 7 years old. She had a seizure back in Oct of 2009, and just had another about 2 weeks ago. Obviously, if she had others when we weren't around, she survived them. Both have been in the morning, and required vet trips and shots to get her to stop seizing. Not a fun experience. Our dog did not have any breathing problems. Google golden retriever siezure. Seems the breed is predisposed to seizing.
