Overall, farming has a major disconnect with the general public. I hope this statement is false. If it is not false, then the world is doomed to starvation. If agriculture is not sustainable, then it's unsustainable. Does that sound good for the future to you? Sustainable agriculture should indeed be a key focus. I couldn't care less about organic vs inorganic (unless one of them is less sustainable), but if anyone were to say that an interest in sustainable agriculture is a bad thing, I would have to seriously question their sanity. |
