Northeast Nebraska | Yes we are concerned about the weight. I new people would think I was crazy. We are a family farm and hired men never run our stuff. I think a little common sense will go a long ways in our situation. We won't road it with any fertilizer in it. We will always empty the front tank first when planting. Use caution and slow down for ditches in the field. I don't think we'll have any problems.
We are going to put 20-25 GPA of starter fertilizer 2x2 on 3000 acres of corn. Then when we are done we'll hook this tractor up to the side dress machine and put another 20 gpa of 32% on. So yes, it is necessary.
