AgRemote is like 1980's technology, cumbersome, convoluted and unless you use it frequently takes 3-4 times the amount of time it should to make any changes. I only mess with it maybe once or twice a year and it seems like I end up having to completely reset everything (because I screw up a setting) and then just "fool around" with it until I get things the way that I want them.

Instead of all of the toggle arrows and menus, how about a simple GUI with 3 tabs, one for general settings and the other two for the two ports we have in the 106. Things like changing baud rates or turning on/off different message streams should be done with simple checkboxes or drop-down menus. Then how about a couple of text boxes that let us view the raw information coming from each port to see that we have the desired settings established.

I'm just whining about this for the most part and will continue to fight through it a couple of times a year. In the big picture its not that big of a deal.
