I am surprised that you have not tried that 332 on beacon correction. Trimble's stated accuracy for the 332 is 10-30 cm RMS 15 min with beacon correction. 20 cm absolute with XP. All you need is the beacon antenna, they sell used for $150 to $400 (I was literally asleep one time when one went for $35) on Ebay. I do not know that it will work for planting, but unless the beacon correction station is 300 miles away from you, there will be less drift than with WAAS.
I am not saying that it will be better than XP, I bought the 332 for a long job that required the XP absolute accuracy. I was really glad when it was no longer required, no waiting for convergence, and if you lose the satellites the fix comes back in seconds. If I could find annother
reasonably priced 332, I would buy it.
