OmniStar has a new signal available known as G2. I'm told it is similar accuracy to XP, but uses both the GPS and GLONASS satellites. Of course you would need a receiver capable of receiving both systems. That would help with trees blocking satellites, but no matter what, you still need to see the satellite that the correction signal is coming from, which is above the equator.
