We're looking at going with an Omni signal and have been tossing the idea around if HP is worth it?

I see you mentioned that you have few trees and feel that XP is enough.

We farm around many 'woods' and old fencelines that have trees along them. Would the bump up to HP gain us anything along these problem areas, or would we need something better?

Reason for guidance is due to strip tilling rather than full width tillage.

Thanks,
Lance

Can't say for sure but your problems with lots of trees is probably losing GPS satellites. If this is the case the HP may not be the answer. Some of the newer GPS receivers are now able to work with the GLONASS satellites from our former enemies. This option gives more satellites to work with and increases your chances of getting a sufficient number of satellites at any given time.
