Central, IA
We are strip-tilling our corn-on-corn. We had been using JD RTK for 4 years until this spring. Fall zones were put in fall of 2009 in between old corn rows with JD RTK. Last spring I traded off the tractors which resulted in buying AL/autofarm guidance. I was very concerned if I would have issues with this exact problem. I don't recall it being that troubling at all. I'm not going to say everything was perfect, but it was definitely manageable. Granted, that for us it was a one time issue. I would think in smaller fields i.e. 80ac, you would be ok. The math will give the theoretical answer, but unfortunately you won't know without trying.
