roaming | in these combines, you must perform a steering sensor calibration, but the calibration is not on the same page as the other Nav calibration items. Are you certain that the steering sensor has been calibrated? It's often overlooked because it's not obvious.
Some of the wandering issues on the Magnums were also steering sensor related (either incorrect calibration or sensor hardware issues).
With a big head at a high speed, I would guess that there may also be some issues related to vehicle dynamics (similar to a large boom on a sprayer, which is also operated at high speeds). CNH recently released v26 Pro 600 software with some fixes for sprayers; perhaps a similar update is needed for the combines. I haven't heard of many problems at slower speeds, though, as you're reporting. I would verify the sensor cal, and make sure you're running the latest software in the IntelliView III and NavII. | |
