Prairie of Southern MN | +1 on the Kimber recommendation. 1911s cost a little more than your XDs and Glocks, but point the most naturally (at least for me), and are just a real joy to shoot. Kimber builds one of the best that is still in the consumer price range and not a "custom shop" gun. Like others have said, the absolute best thing you can do is shoot a whole bunch of different styles and calibers, and find something that you shoot well and are comfortable with. | |
