All nurserys are a little different but in the two that I have the temp starts at 82 for the first week then drop it to 78-80 for the next two weeks then down to 75. I try to get the temp down to 70-72 before they go out on week 8 depending on the outside temp. I have found if the temp is set to high you cant get enough fresh air flow and then you will have strep problems, and that will happen in weeks 3-5.

One thing to look at in your building would be if the pigs were pileing because of a draft not because of temp.??
