Subject: RE: shop wiring question

Northeast Indiana (Auburn)
I spent a little extra money and did not share any ground or neutral wires when I built a new farrowing barn/nursery barn in 1988. I did not have to have a building inspector check my work but I did. He suggested I do it my way but he said shared neutals if phased right would work. My insurance company was going to have me pay for an electrical inspection until I show them the building inspector's sign off. In the great state of Indiana you can do you own electric and plumbing work on your own buildings/house but it will have to be inspected if it is a new structure or major remodel as of 2008 when I did my house addition and remodel.
