s.c. north dakota | I bought a 99 Bonneville at a consignment sale 3 years ago. I drove it for a week before I noticed no overdrive. 3 and D were the same gear, but could feel some engine braking in 3. I took it into a trans shop hoping for a easy sensor/module fix, but was not to be. My trans guy said he unhooked all the electronis and vacumn and ran it on the road and OD is just gone. So, 20K miles later, still going just no OD. And I'm not gonna stick much into a $1200 car. Rob D | |
