Central Michigan | Torque converter lock up and overdrive are often confused. When you are driving and you pull the shift lever down to D it does not downshift. Torque converter lockup is totally different but many confuse it with overdrive. Apply lite pressure to brake pedal to see if it unlocks when traveling at cruising speed. You may just have a bad brake switch causing no converter lockup. | |
