| My 2003 F 250 7.3 has been flawless in the years I have had it. Pull a heavy trailer with it all the time an hasnt missed a beat. I got to say what sells me on these Fords is the tow mirrors an cuttout window design. Rear vision is superior to anything i have seen. The new tow mirrors are incredible. There heated as well as fold in an out as well as the mirrors themselves are electric also. Ford had these tow mirrors back in 99. Chevy copied them an came out with something similar but there just imitations. No offense to Dodge guys but what i hate the worst on there trucks is those stupid mirrors. They have kept the same mirrors for along time an I just cant stand them. they have ditched them along time ago. I drove a friends Dodge one day an I just hated them. I like the Cummins though. Although they have a very weak spot is that there lifts pumps fail on a regular basis. My next truck will probably be a 6.7 Ford 2011 F 250. I test drove one the other day an wow what I can say. Puts my current truck to shame in power an comfort. The new 6 speed is pretty sweet. Flawless shifting. The competition between the big 3 in trucks has made for some great rigs for the choosing. Be prepared to spend $50,000 for anything you buy an probablly more. | |
