There are a lot of things that I do myself in my shop but I draw the line on fifth wheel work. The thought of a trailer coming unhooked at hiway or interstate speed makes me weak. This is no room for error and no place for trial and error. Send it to someone who knows what they are doing and fix it correctly. One accident can make the cost of professional repair seem cheap.
