Near-north Ontario, French River | As Rich says back the nut off on the bolt that protrudes from the front of the plate. There should be a washer between the nut and the plate, back the nut off just enough that the washer is slightly loose and you should be good to go. Back it off too much and you will find it difficult to unlock the plate. As others have suggested it might be worth having the pin on the trailer checked for excessive wear as well. |
