Wife and I have been to many carribean islands. Jamaica was the most unpleasant trips we have ever taken. The airport is miserable, the buses are nasty and the resort was to. Also we got tired of being offered guanja all the time. Even shopping in the gated areas was uncomfortable. St. Maartin, Grand Cayman, high priced but great. We really liked Puta Cana for the price.
