Where Bonehead was is not a "prime" scope hunting ground. A large square mile area or larger, all "blow down" area, where area of forest was literally blown over, and acres and acres of underbrush and thickets all on the side of a mountain. The below zero and darkness only added to his fun. Most people would never hunt that area at all. There were elk and deer in there but it would pretty tough hunting crawing over blown down trees, or under them and thickets you'd have to get down on your hands and knees to crawl thru. Elk n' deer could pick their way thru and a great hideout during hunting season. |
