Blanchester, OH | Lexan is certainly Tuff Stuff, but it is "soft" on it's surface and scratches easily. After a few cleanings it will be somewhat opaque from these microscopic scratches. I would choose laminated safety glass (if available) for this application. Most glass shops have this in flat sheets and can cut it to whatever form is required. I would also recommend rounded corners. Your glass supplier should also have the rubber channel for mounting the glass. I recommend the one piece lockable channel. It's much easier to use than the two piece. | |
