NE MO & W IL | Cliff 2 is right, he's not farming "for the insurance", he is picking a crop that guarantees him profit because of revenue insurance. I'm in the same situation. If the price keeps dropping our bushel guarantee actually goes up. It is a no brainer to plant corn unless this rain keeps us out of the field until June. When you can insure profit how does that make you farming for insurance? Especially since you are paying the high premium for the insurance coverage. | |
