north central Oklahoma | As I understood my market closing comments on Friday, the bean, and to some degree wheat selloff towards close was to cover margin calls. Since no one could exit their corn positions due to limit down, they had to exit positions in other grains to cover margin. Beans could show another day of neg trading, especially if corn is limit down again, but I think they will recover soon thereafter. I was wrong one other time - - - - - - - - - - - - when I quit my day job to go back to farming full time. Been right ever since, buy high-sell low. | |
