NESD | Several years ago I had a lot of problems with the bushings in the intermediate cylinder drive getting loose and making the sheave assy howl, you could hear them a 1/2 mile away if you were off to the right side of the machine, not as noticeable when off to the left, new bushings quieted them right down. One customer ran 9 machines at that time and over about a two week period I did every machine, plus the other machines that we had sold new that year. As I remember if the bushings were greased good they would be quiet for maybe an hour before they started howling again.
