I thought about my reel drive pump since it broke it's mounting bracket last year and I put new bearings in the mount. Thinking maybe it was going out. Might explain the reel stopping suddenly also. I thought that if that was the case it would easily be heard with the door open but maybe not if it's just creating a sound within the hydraulics and not necessarily external noise.
