1. because i don't think they are built heavy enough and was having breakdown issues. 2. I love the idea of being able to adjust different parts of the seperating and threshing elements. We had a lot of trouble with rotor and sieve loss on the case. 3. dealer support from the Cat/Lexion dealership is second to none in my area. Overall just fell in love with the Lexion when we demoed it.
