Subject: Gemplers pad.

Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums.
We have a pad of a couple hundred sheets in a ring binder. It is mandatory in Virginia and it better add up or you get fined. I've been checked 3 times in 5 years. We keep the notebook in the sprayer. We then post it on a central area where anyone can look at it. That central area has a big map of each farm, a list of all the chemicals and their EPA number and re-entry info so I don't have to write that down each time. It would take me more time to enter in on a computer than it does to just write it in the sheet when I finish a field. At the end of the year I put all the sheets in a folder and file it. We're required to keep 3 years. Here's one sample sheet from a couple years ago. Edit: the real sheet is bigger and easier to read, I don't know why it looks shrunken.
