Subject: Re: 90-100 day corn in the south question

Northeast Louisiana
I am located about 10 miles south of Delhi, I am pretty close to Dawson Farms if you know where that is, its on hwy 17 south towards Crowville.

My corn is not ready yet, I dont have any early corn this year because the guys I harvest with planted a good bit and didnt want to run the combine all over the country. The guys I swap time/harvest with are getting very good yields so far with DK 715, avg around mid 190's, last year same field did 198.
I was told today that this year is last year for DK715 but its replaced with another number. Suppose to be same corn. I will keep up on it.
Once all the corn is out i will get yields from neighbors and compare notes on early corn vs mid to late season corn. I plan on planting DK715 or what the new name is next spring to start on my corn first, kinda swapping harvest around i guess.
