One of the things you'll have to watch: the disease and insect tolerances/resistances that these hybrids have are more fitting for our Northern tier of states than our Southern tier. Sometimes you can find an early hybrid that has acceptable tolerance, but you'll miss more often than not. Your combination of heat and humidity in the Delta is an environment that none of these hybrids has been tested in, which adds another challenge to the movement of early hybrids South.
