NE colorado. & south central SD | i put down 45-50 pounds of seed treated with Raxil, ran a good starter fertilizer program, has been no-till for 5-6 years............ there is no summer fallow on my farm....... idk the last time fallow made a guy any money..... i sure do hate to waste the moisture when its there for the taking.... the guy that combined my wheat just bought a farm about three miles away and it was a fallow program and he only got 27bu/ac off that........ i have heard rain makes grain thou....... i think this year in my area the fungicide treatment at flag too heading really paid big dividends guys that i have talked with that treated were seeing a 8-15 bushel increase on treated vs non-treated |
